WSPC held it’s first triathlon with entrants, from many local clubs, paddling skiffs or O1’s and then ‘suffering’ on the bike and run course. Congratulations and thanks to the participants the many helpers. The results are here, check out the courses below.

Sunday 5th June saw the naming and launching of the latest addition to the WSPC boathouse. “Ian MacDougal” is a 2 foot punt which was donated by the family of Ian MacDougal, a long time member of the club who died in 2014. On Saturday 14 May WSPC hosts the Wraysbury Long Distance head race for skiffs. The race is 4500m and as well as double skiffs includes O1 outriggers. Entry details to follow. Details of last year’s race can be found here.
The International Dragon Boat Federation’s Club Crew World Championships will be held in Adelaide, South Australia from 30 March to 7 April 2016. Wraysbury Dragons will compete in the Senior B (over 50’s) category. In the Senior B events Wraysbury are the current world champions for 2000m and silver medal holders for 500m and 200m. […]
